Even before you enter the apartment, the building commands respect. The 1859 Neoclassical façade, its ornate wrought-iron canopy, its tall moulded windows — and then, once you push open the door, the entrance hall: a red and white marble chequered floor, stained-glass windows, pilasters, a staircase with an elaborately worked iron balustrade. This is a building with history, and it knows it.

It is within this setting that La Rêverie was conceived by an interior designer — not to erase its character, but to enter into dialogue with it.

An interior with a point of view

From the entrance hall, colour announces itself: an intense, unapologetic cobalt blue — and beside it, a gilded relief wall that answers it. You pause. You smile. This is not a decorated apartment; it is an apartment with a perspective.

The living room benefits from high ceilings that give the space a lightness rare for 42 m². You can easily picture yourself here on a Sunday morning, coffee in hand, with nowhere you absolutely have to be.

The separate bedroom is more restful — dominated by an enormous botanical wallpaper, a dark and luxuriant jungle, behind which you fall asleep in a king-size bed with the sensation of being somewhere else entirely. Thermal comfort has been considered with the same attention to ease: silent ceiling fans and solar filters on every window, for a temperature that regulates itself gently, without noise, without draughts.
